    Read about a long journey of this impressive dog breed towards to the south of Africa. Boerboels settled in what is now known as Cape Town together with first Dutch settlers; to be exact it was the Table Bay where they settled in. And the silhouette of the Tabel Mountain is a motive of our logo as well.

Kennel Assyrian Guard

My name is Miroslav Koláčný. I started cynology activities in 1980s with training of German Shephereds. However, since 2003 I’ve focused solely on molossers, beginning with the Dogue de Bordeaux breed, then extending my interest to the Boerboel in 2012 and Bullmastiffs in 2015. Moloss Breeds have enchanted me because of their nature, deliberation and character features.

This led to the foundation of the ASSYRIAN GUARD breeder centre in 2012 with an aim to continuously improve the quality of Boerboel and Bullmastiff, in terms of both appearance and temperament.
